Advancing Science, Arts and Cultural Heritage for Sustainable Futures
This conference is organised by the STEAM Innovation Project Consortium (Science View, Inquirium FUSE, NUCLIO and Materahub) with Materahub hosting the event in the extraordinary UNESCO World Heritage city of Matera.
The STEAM Innovation Final Conference will highlight how to bridge Science, Arts and Cultural Heritage through creative and inclusive education.
The conference aims to build strong connections between education, cultural and creative sectors, research and public policy, bringing together key actors working across these fields.
It will present the outcomes of the STEAM Innovation project and showcase how theatre, music and making & tinkering can strengthen scientific understanding while fostering sustainability, creativity and inclusion.
Through presentations, student showcases and dialogue sessions, the conference will demonstrate how STEAM approaches can contribute to more innovative and human-centred education systems across Europe.

Youth Participation
Students from upper primary and secondary education will present creative projects developed during the pilot phase of the STEAM Innovation project, demonstrating how artistic practice can deepen scientific learning and engagement.
